Recording studios

Our residential recording studios lie by the shores of lake Nuuksio in the middle of Nuuksio National Park forests. Here you can finally create in peace – on the attic of a listed red brick barn house from 1927

The main recording space is a shared live & control room design complete with 44 channel MIDAS XL200 analogue console at the heart of the tracking operation. There’s lots of space for recording drums and countless different sounding rooms within reach of our 50m, 24/8 channel analogue multicore. 24 channel SSL converters with RME interface take care of recording over Thunderbolt, so you can plug in your own laptop or use ours.

This great sounding space has an absolutely awe-inspiring vibe. Wall rugs by Immi Halsti featured in 1998 Lisbon World Expo are part of the acoustic treatment, to name a few eccentric details. An oak cupboard from 1862 has also listened to a lot of legendary sessions sitting patiently in the corner.

Downstairs you have your toilet, kitchen, and bathroom facilities and we can provide accommodation. On the premises you will find a private beach and sauna, and National Park forest trails are just meters away from the doorstep.
